What is the best WWiV board online in 2024? What is your favorite?I don't have many favorites these days but, back in the day my favorites were Eagles Dare and City Morgue. I keep in touch with StarSlayer from City Morgue and try to get him to get it back online. Again, a heavily modded 4.24 version. Multiple networks i.e., IceNet, FileNet, WWIVnet, Fido etc....
Alright guys; ya'll know the WWiV sysops and I'm wanting to see the
wildest
or most customization or... does the WWiV community have a BEST WWiV
board
or some BBS that has a sysop who's created a super active, unique or modified WWiV BBS?

Unfortunately, speaking for myself, I don't know which systems are customized or modded out there beyond say Mark's Weather Station BBS as it's still on a heavily modded version of 4.24/4.30.The problem with 5.x is its very hard to mod since most of us knew what to do basic stuff on 4.x series. Would something like LUA used in Talisman be better for people to do things?

I kind of feel bad about that. I should really be calling all of our
lnked BBS's but with most of the chatter being on our SysOp and General Subs, and hardly any local sub activity I just haven't been following through.
I think that because the entire source is available for v5.x+, mods
should be just as easy, providing that the 'modder' has the correct
skills and/or interest. What is the code? C++?
