But this is likely my last message until May 3rd.

    No polling likely until then.

No, I think we all are on the same wavelength there. It is good to hear from everyone.

    Have a fun vacation!

Unfortunately I rarely vacations for multiple reasons, but don't mind getting a break from the normal grind. Generally I can take them or leave them, but I do like the memories they create and the "exploring" factor. I have always been big on exploring - probably why I like riding the Harley in various new areas with the GPS just to check them out.

We have been looking at potentially doing an inground pool in the next year. So far this has been a real bust as I wasn't prepared for the extreme high costs of them over the last 3-4 years. The costs are insane from my perspective. I had an in-ground pool built 20 years ago for $20k. A smaller pool these days will run you at least $70k if you are lucky. We have seen quotes from $70k-$165k. It is NUTS!

So I have tabled the project and will revisit in the fall and see if things are different. I am really tired of these insane prices though. It really puts a damper in my plans.

Some of our BBS's have been running for decades, out of sight, out of mind. It's so easy to forget "How did I do that?"

Yes I have forgotton much and need to spend some time investigating. I have a recent version of WWIV to play with on Windows 10 as well.

That is for sure! I have so many custom things on my BBS and I don't remember how I did pretty much all of them.

There are mods to my BBS that I did 35 years ago. I probably should have documented each of them back then. I'm glad that I still have all the original code and everything to this day, though. That is due to me being very diligent with backups over the years.
