    That really is one of the best sources, but what I think would be really beneficial, would be for each node on WWIVnet to have a list of all the telnet addresses for all connected nodes.

    There's already the (B)BS list option from the main menu, which has a (N)et sub-option to list all the BBSes on WWIVNet.. I think it just needs to be updated a little bit to allow for showing of the telnet address rather than the phone number.
