I am LITERALLY the king of stupid questions. No stupid Q's :)

Mine have a tendancy of generating unique responses at times. There is a level of tact and diplomacy to the art of asking stupid questions, in which I completely lack haha!

All I can do is express my sincere gratitude and thanks for your friendships
Ditto! Thanks for being a driving force behind this and a friendly dude
    to chat with.

This is very fun to me and really bringing me back to my best days as a SysOp. I don't even get many calls to my WWIV BBS and frankly don't care haha! It's that much fun for *me*. This GhostNet business is super cool on so many levels, and glad to keep learning and contributing more in the future as time progresses.

Very happy for you. I know none of that's not easy, any time of the
    year.
    You are a survivor.

Yes, thank you, still a very scary time of year. The "unknown" is more "known" when you know you have an issue being monitored. So thank you for understanding. At least I'm not shutting down BBSes or Discord channels these days, nor telling people to F-off derp..

Yeah, i think being unique as a community sets this apart and makes it worthwhile.

Very much so. One goal should be that people get curious and start viewing the subs.lst and asking "how do I get this or that sub?" The simple answer: Get Talisman or WWIV. Most of those BBSing right now are late 90's era BBSers and SysOps where Synch, Mystic, Renegade, etc.. were supreme. However there were the originals, c-net and wwiv, that frankly are just treasures. I'd love to see WWIV NETWORKING be of more interest to people overall.

Yeah, I'm gonna be pretty much out of pocket until early January, but I
can def. lean in before that.

I think the concerns I have is not knowing how to setup a network in software I have not used. Or some software not having been tested. I would think with it all being FTN based for those outside of WWIV we should be golden, but hey, never hurts to beta before release.

Let's pick a date to nuke the test posts, do that housekeeping? we can
also confine test posts to a single sub in the interim. I can take care
of the FTN and Talisman bridge files. Not as familiar with nuking
    WWIV...

100% could do this this weekend. Say December 15th in the AM. That will give me time to add one more sub (NC/GC/AC's only or what would the proper name be?) Not for sysops just for the three of us and future hub operators. Anyway I will add on Saturday:

    1. Coordinator and Hub Operators Only
    2. GhostNet Developer Discussion only (available to all in 1)

    I'll start writing:
    1. On GhostNet Dev Discussion: "This sub is to discuss" text for approval then use
the approved text as "test posts." on each sub.
    2. Once we have all test posts confirmed working at WWIV/FTN/Talisman ..

Following week week as we are able to make time for:
    3. Lets use sub 1 to come up with a list of BETA testers to reach out to.
    4. Test WWIV hub ping and tosser tool one last time.
    5. Add beta testers.

So, December 15 nuke test posts. WWIV, as Apam pointed out, can't be rescanned so I can just delete the actual posts from my BBS and log into the hub and do the same without deleting files.

Thanks again Robbie and Andrew for all you have done. I'm on fire
    ready to get
this place active and hopping with BBS FUN!

    Same!! LETS GOOOOOOO!

    Heck yeah! ;)
