    Whats up WWIV'ers!?

Is there anyone running DOVEnet via QWK on a WWIV BBS? I'd like to get DOVEnet on my BBS, is the only way an FTN bridge?

That would be a cool extra feature for the bbs.

I know that someone updated QWKCVT01 to work with WWIV 5.x, but I forgot who. I wanted to get that running on Linux too. Maybe we should have `networkq` for QWK network BBS networking, like we have `networkf` for FTN.

Rob Swindell would know how. Afterall, isn't Synch based on WWIV? I would like to run WWIVnet on Synch too!

Pretty sure Apam has it fully working on Talisman now.

I think apam@ may have done that? Yes we could totally do a networkq and create a new network type for QWK, that would not be too hard I think. WWIV's pretty flexible that way.

Synch may look like wwiv in some ways, but not at all based on WWIV.

Yeah, i used to run it via FTN bridge. I'm pretty sure someone was making
it available via a point system at some point, although i don't know if
    that's a rules violation

I did a long time ago make QWK support for WWIV 5, but that was prior to you rewriting the network stack so we didn't have to run the dos binaries on linux.

IIRC it stopped working a while ago, and I believe someone else took it over and made it work again, but I don't remember who.

I don't have any copies of it anymore, either the old version or the new version.

I think as long as you dont make dupe posts or do anything crazy its generally permissable.
