    I called a Telegard BBS this weekend and could not believe my eyes .. a living, breathing, working, registered version of ICEedit! WOW! Is there anything that would keep ICEedit from working within DOSbox or DOSemu/2? What a glorious FSED it is. I had to take screen shots. I read somewhere that it was purchased, does anyone know by who and what became of it?

    There is a BBS Door called CheapEdit that is basically SabreEdit modified into a freeware fsed door. Since I run Windows 11 I cant run it.

    modified into a freeware fsed door. Since I run Windows 11 I cant run

    I'm unfamiliar with either of those titles, do you have a link to them? I searched my files and did not have either (suprisingly, I have just about every BBS file out there but not those!) I'd love to see/try them out. Are they linux or OS/2?

    I think SabreEdit was renamed to Open!Edit (Tiny bought it) It used to
    be available on his BBS website, but since he's taken his BBS down I
    don't know where you'd get it?

    Thats good to know, I'll try to see if my other BBSes have that already, or will chat up Tiny and see if I can check it out! I'd sure love to see an ICEedit style FSED for linux that is more of a door and less BBS specific. Do you think the SHIM and .sh files you made for Paulie and I (back in the day, that we're both still using btw) will work to fire up ICE or Open!Edit? I would think that the FSED's are a bit more involved than a DOOR regarding it's integration with email, network, and local message files, or maybe not.
