• Handheld Radio

Speaking of radios, I just happen to be trying to sell a Yaesu FT3D in excellent condition. Comes with the extended battery and desk charger. I'm selling it because I have two of them, and they are awesome radios. Super long battery life, beautiful color screen, Fusion (digital) mode support, APRS TNC built-in for messages and position reporting, and programmable through a file on the SD card.

    That does sound dreamy.

What would the FT3D go for these days?

My newest Yaesu is the FT-530 dual-band. First HT I've seen that was built for cross-band repeat. Sadly, I have more HT's than I can use and will likely sell it off as well.

Not too bad. I was looking at the new Kenwood HT's and they are pretty pricy. However, I paid about that for my first TH-F6a about 20 years ago and it's still in use today. Even the original battery still holds a charge as long as I use the HT as the charger.

It's hard to tell because they don't seem easy to find. Maybe 300? That's what I was hoping to get. Took 50 less tho.
