I love it when my wife pushes the button on the router because someone or some prompt tells her to do it and then, the network gets deleted along with all of your port forwarding information.

What is more "fun" is when customers do it and wonder what happened. And they want to know why stuff stops working. Even on commercial grade router/firewalls they do this. It is worse when they company has a static IP address and some rules programmed. We had to send a tech out to connect so we could reprogram the unit remotely.
    Just smile and nod.

lol. That can't happen over here since I run pfSense as a VM.

The other nice thing is how easy it is to restore it if there are any issues like a bad update. Even if it gets totally trashed from a bad update or something, I can restore it in 15 minutes.

lol! This AM I woke up to no internet, my wife was in the living room and was like "yeah, the lights red on the router, normally I just unplug and plug it back in." me "So why didn't you?" her "I'm just using cellular data." My internet was down for 6 hours SMH.
