    I originally scoped my home network out to be a class C /24. That was morethan enough before the world of IoT and smart homes. I am almost
    out of IPspace in my main /24 network at home, so I had to move things around slightly.

    Do you not keep the IoT junk in a separate network away from anything important?

    All of mine are spread out over a couple of Wireless VLANs off a UBNT UDM hosting a couple of AC Pro HD's.

    No, all on the same subnet. Since many use discovery via broadcast, it is much easier to keep all of that on the same subnet.
