I have a beta version working of wwiv5lastcallers. It is currently an external executable and right now only runs on WWIV 5 on Linux.
The repository is here:
https://github.com/ericpareja/wwiv5lastcallers
If you don't want to compile it on your own, you can grab 2 files: xw5-ilc, and xw5-ilc.ini.
Place these in your BBS home dir.
In wwiv.ini, look for the LOGON_CMD line and put the pathname/filename to the xw5-ilc executable.
e.g. LOGON_CMD = /home/wwiv/xw5-ilc -D %C
xw5-ilc.ini contains the following:
--[start of xw5-ilc.ini]--
[Main]
WWIV Path = /home/wwiv
BBS Name = A WWIV BBS!
Data Area = wwivdata
display = 10
BBS Address = wwivbbs.org
dontshow = 256
--[end of xw5-ilc.ini]--
dontshow is the lowest SL that xw5-ilc will NOT log as part of lastcallers.
The binary will create a file named laston.txt in your BBS root. You can move or link this to the WWIVnet network directory so that it appears on logon.
Lemme know if it works for you and if you have any suggestions to improve it.
Thanks! :)
