  • Any update on Linux with .bas?

    Hey RushFan and team, has anyone been able to update .bas to save in .json format so mods like Eli's one liner mod will begin working? At the moment the mod is not saving data at all. I'm unclear if it's the WWIV Basic that needs updated or if the included .bas is needing updated as an "example" of saving input and user data to an HD using WWIV basic language. I've checked permissions and user:group's and it's not that. The .json just does not exist. Any deetz would be appreciated as I'd love to start learning the scripting language and writing a few mods, but need to be able to read/write with the mods I'm thinking of.

    I just last night realized the basic code is correct and something broke in the implemnetation. Not sure what it is, I'll try to take a look at the C++ side and see what it is when I get a chance.

    Last night found the issue and pushed a fix (there was a bug in the .bas script) so the latest 5.9 build has both the fixed script as well as better error handling and logging for basic script errors./
