• FTN subboard hangs up when reading

    From Recon #1@126.Wwivnet@11:1/101 to All on Sun Jan 19 19:00:55 2025

    Not sure how / where to get help on this so posting it here. On Linux Mint 22. Unsure how to get on IRC just yet.

    I just added ZeroNet and the FTN works just fine meaning I connect and can send and receive. ZeroNet is using Mystic just as FSXnet so basic setup.

    When I add subs, it asks me for the host, so I put in the uplinks address.
    I posted a message in their test section and it sent to my Mystic BBS just fine (and others), and I sent a message from my mystic BBS and it came back to my WWIV BBS no problem.

    However when I try to read it, the BBS disconnects. The error I get is:

    Illegal instruction (core dumped)

    I also notice, not sure if this is "normal" or not that the "recent network connections" shows the FTN connection as having been as below: I would have thought it would have just said "zeronet FTN" but it has that @32765 and then "gateway?"

    @32765.zeronet zeronet Gateway

    Anyone that can share a step I may have missed would be appreciated.
