Some chap has "proved" that the Shroud cannot be genuine because a cloth draped over a human body does not produce that sort of image. (Read the article for youself.)

The guy's an artist, so one should not expect an undue amount of sense
or even intelligence from him. The Bible explicitly states that Jesus'
body was wrapped in strips of linen, so the shroud was not simply
allowed to drift down and fall into place. It was laid over the body and
then pulled into contact with the body by the linen strips (think
Egyptian mummy).

Once you realise that, his whole argument collapses into nonsense.

That said, I have grave doubts about the Shrouds authenticity, but let's
have reasonsed, historically accurate arguments, please.
