I don't know what that is, but I am not in the market for a new ear worm,
I have been stuck with Brass in Pocket for days and I quite like it.

Circa 1951 we got our first record player, a wind-up that sat on the
kitchen table. It came with 'Somewhere over the rainbow' by Judy G....
and 'Panis Angelicus' sung by Beniamino Gigli, both give me an intense
feeling of nostalgia. The Garland comes into my ear whenever I am in a situation that I would rather not be in, such as crossing London Bridge
gong to work on grey, wet and windy day.

I recommend that you do not Youtube it. It is just the sort of piece
that can become an earworm, particularly when you have been warned.
Worse you probably do know it.

Indeed, but does anyone know who sang it originally in the US?
No Googling or is it called AI-ing now?

Dannny Kaye? Sounds like the sort of thing he would have sung.

Gurgle still gives more correct answers if you turn off the AI.

Dannny Kaye? Sounds like the sort of thing he would have sung.

My excuse for not knowing is that it was released a year before I
arrived in this world, and the Bygraves version was forever getting
played on Family Favourites while I was growing up. Danny Kaye had
nothing to do with it. Probably had more sense....

Something tacky about a lickle bull ? And one about a swan ? But Bygraves did gender-identifying toothbrushes.

Gawd, the later 60s were a relief, for someone who was brought up to
think music was supposed to be worth listening to.
