• Damn, failed in my lifetime attempt at no broken bones

People may remember my recent attempt at checking If a 38 tonne truck
was as heavy as they say.

My foot was bruised and a bit swollen, It didn;t stop me setting out on
an 8 day 250mile push bike ride the following day.

All seemed to be healing well until last week when I put on a pair of
shoes and socks for the 1st time since April (sandals are for summer),
the next day my big toe was showing signs of infection.

So today I popped Into the local walk In centre, they x-rayed and I
appear to have a clean cracl at across the front on my big toe :-)

After nearly 63 years of falling of push bikes, motorbikes, rock faces,
walls and playing rugby and football, I'm devestaed. Not in any pain,
    just devestated :-)

The worst part Is I can't ride the bike(s) as changing gear has been a
    touch painful.

    Harsh!

But truth be told - I'm in a not dissimilar watercraft myself. Thinking
right now about going out for a motorbike ride and my default seems
to be to hop on the pushbike.
