[1] I'll wave to Eddie
I was out for a rare ride today, had to drop some tools off at MiL's.
Decided to take the long router, which was fine, until I filtered to the >front of the queue on a roundabout.
Lanes 1 and 2 has lorries, lane 3 a car. So I filtered between 2 and 3, >lights red and plenty of room In from of lorry.
Except just as I drew level with the front of him (he was still rolling)
he came slightly right, caught my mirror and nudged me just enough to
make me put my foot down.
As he drove over my foot.
We stopped and chatted,
go the hospital, I could move my toes so can't be arsed.
Carried on my journey, I should have headed home for the frozen peas
really, gear changes got a touch painful after 60 miles.
Oh well, off on a 6/7 day 250 mile push bike ride tomorrow >(Carlisle->Berwick->Newcastle[1]

Might be in Sicily then, it'll need to be another big wave.

While in Sicily, you could wave to Lady Nina[1], with a reasonable
sized wave
[1] one for the long-timers here

I thought she went (far) oop north?
- to the northern outpost of where part of the Union Flag came from?
- ie definitely not within line of sight of Sicily?

Forewarned is forearmed, in that case we'll make sure to wave from
atop Arthur's Seat. I'll be wearing a bright yellow anorak, which
should help considerably, I imagine.

No, she pops up on Fbook UKRM now and then.Recently she mentioned being in the process of buying a property in Sicily. She was there before Brexit and has residency now. Apparently it's not easy for non EU people to buy
property in Italy.
