Yes they and so they should be imo.

Peacefully protesting in support of Palestine etc is fine, but
repeatedly causing criminal damage running into hundreds of thousands of pounds is not. YMMV

    Yes but.

A lot of people are very unhappy about it.

Including a high court judge who is scheduling a judicial review next
    month
Including a lot of members of the public who seem to feel this is akin
to the Neil Kinnock/Derek Hatton moment (not a Labour council - a
LABOUR council - sending redundancy notices around in taxis but a
Labour government sending protestors to prison for terrorism) and
somebody, who has apparently calculated all the prison space available
in jails and police cells around the country is hoping to get more
than that number of people to stand up and be arrested at protest demonstrations next weekend on I'm Spartacus charges.

At least, being out in France you know where you are with the Yellow

Millions of pounds by some reckoning. But we already have laws - and
very tough laws - to deal with that sort of thing.

Calling out "terrorism" against any support for causes that embarrass
the government or that the government doesn't happen to like puts
Britain in pretty ugly company internationally. IMO of course.

Hmm. A knotty problem. I have now returned from France but have seen
no reports of this on BBC News.

Apparently to imply genocide by shooting or bombing people is
anti-jewish but to allow people to starve to death is not acceptable to
the international community so we can make an international rumpus under
one heading and not the other.

Has anyone proven that those causing "millions of pounds of damage" were actually members of PA or simply individuals who wished to make a point
and that credit was then claimed for the action? Indeed is anyone being prosecuted for the damage caused to the planes? And how were terrorists
able to access them? Or am I missing something?

People claimed to be members of PA have been successfully prosecuted and
given ~2yr custodial sentences for an earlier act of criminal damage at
a factory making arms for sale to Israel (see https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2025/aug/05/lord-dannatt-urged-ministers-to-crack-down-on-palestine-action-at-request-of-us-firm).
So if the current law sufficed then it's hard to see what, beyond the embarrassment at the break-in and a military airbase, justifies the
    imposition of anti-terrorism measures.

I don't support PA, though I have sympathies with their aims and I do
support their right to non-violent protest activities.
