    rather than running a full fat machine to use PAN, I have dockerised it
    into a container with a desktop can be accessed via noVNC. However transferring everything to this rig broke my pinned version of pan with gmime3.0 which caused a very subtle error about email addresses to be
    thrown.

    Believe it or not ChatGPT solved it before my Googling and advised
    rebuilding with gmime2.6 in the container. Having done that, it works,
    and I now have a Dockerfile to build it whenever I may need.

    I'm sticknig with 0.146, because at some point after that the GUI went to
    shit and I really can't be arsed to messa round to see if it got fixed
    back.

    I am on 1.4.0 on Windows 10.
    IIRC I reverted back to this after GUI issues on a more recent build.
    Quirky but effective.
