I'll be creating a VM using Howard Oakley's Viable app for my M1 MBP. The developer
betas are said to be pretty stable but, only having a single ARM Mac, I will resist
the temptation of installing it on, say, a separate internal SSD volume or external
    drive.

The original long link was indeed very long but the shortened version still works for me though. Never mind IrCOll post originals in future as they often work as long as the delimiting <> are provided.

I've no idea what you did but that tinyurl breaks the first 5 of the
"short URL un-shortener" sites that I found with a quick search.

Somewhat strangely, tinyurl.com themselves no longer seem to provide an
option to verify the original. (Seems they've been around long enough
now as a company that they've forgotten the fundamentals of their own business.)

Thanks for that. When I get a moment, IrCOll try out different URL shortening services rCLin another placerCY. It looks like TinyrCOs reputation may be shrinking!
