Might anyone possibly have a use for one of these? On its way to recycling otherwise. All the bits seem to be there, apart from a little USB extension lead.

I have the same, it's in use here every day. Its software is not quite
as good as it once was now that it has been rewritten for 64 bit, but
it does still work pretty well.

I have an old Miglia TV Duo here, sitting in a box of bits. I can find a
cable for it, but sadly no Mac software options I can find will recognise
    it.

    Might work on Linux perhaps.

It wouldnrCOt sell on eBay, even at 99p. So like you, I think itrCOll go to the tip next time I make trip.

Ah - interesting. Out of curiosity (I really can't think of a situation where I'd use it) I went to the Geniatech (curent owners) site and downloaded the current software. Activation key doesn't work. Now waiting to see if their support gets back to me.

Does it? I read the reviews, and IrCOve never seen anything so consistently panned in terms like: rCLThe old version was excellent, but the new version is awful.rCY

Since thererCOs no way to try the new version without buying it, I didnrCOt.

As I said further up the thread, I went to the Geniatech site (the current owners, I believe) and downloaded the most recent software (freely) from

    https://www.geniatech.eu/support/eyetv-hybrid-en/

My original activation key didn't work, and an email to support went unanswered.

Anyway, the thing has since gone to recycling...

The 64 bit app's programme guide is not as good as the old 32 bit app
and it certainly does have some bugs but still, it does drive the EyeTV
    Hybrid dongle well enough.

If there was an alternative I would gladly switch to it but so far I
haven't found one. Given that old fashioned terrestrial broadcasting
is legacy and being superceded by modern Internet programme delivery,
I rather doubt that there will be development of new alternative apps.
