• Why do IDiotic creationists still exist?

North Dakota tried to teach the ID creationist scam in their public
schools in early 2025, but the legislation failed on it's second
reading. The year before West Virginia managed to pass an intelligent
design bill after removing mentioning the ID creationists scam from the legislation. The author of the legislation continued to claim that the legislation that had passed would allow ID to be taught in the West
Virginia public schools even after being forced to remove mentioning the creationist scam from the legislation. Even after the bait and switch
had gone down she was too stupid and dishonest to understand what had happened, and Luskin had to remind her that ID should not be taught in
the public schools. The same year South Dakota failed to pass
legislation that was supposed to allow teaching the ID scam in the
    public schools.

The ID scam unit at the Discovery Institute is the only creationist organization still promoting teaching the ID creationist scam in the US
public schools. Even though they have run the bait and switch on every
single creationist rube legislature or school board that wants to teach
ID since 2002 and only give them the obfuscation and denial switch scam
that they claim has nothing to do with the ID scam, there are still creationists rubes falling for the bait. It seems crazy, but there are
still creationists rubes that believe the ID perps when they continue to
claim that they have a scientific theory of ID that can be taught in the public schools and that even though teaching the junk had been found to
be unconstitutional in Kitzmiller that it was still legal to teach ID in
the public schools outside of the middle federal court district of PA.

How dishonest and stupid do creationist rubes have to be to believe the
scam artists that have run the bait and switch 100% of the time any creationist rubes have believed them about being able to teach ID in the public schools? When the West Virginia legislator continued to claim
that ID could be taught in the West Virginia public schools Luskin
stated that the Discovery Institute did not support teaching ID in the
public schools even though Luskin is coauthor of the current teach ID
scam propaganda put out by the Discovery Institute that supports
teaching the ID creationist scam in the public schools. So how could
there still have been creationists rubes stupid and dishonest enough to
be willing to try to teach the junk in North Dakota in 2025?

There was a 4 year period between 2013 and 2017 when the bait and switch
did not have to go down because no one tried to teach the junk. In 2013
both Louisiana and Texas tried to use their switch scam legislation or
school board antics to teach ID in their public schools. Both states
were abiding by the then ID scam claims that ID not be required to be
taught, so both states were only claiming that teachers could teach ID
if they wanted to, but it was not being mandated to be taught. The
Discovery Institute's education policy was claiming that ID was a
scientific theory that could be taught in the public schools, but that
the Discovery Institute did not want it "required" to be taught in the
public schools. The ID perps still ran the bait and switch, again, on
both Texas and Louisiana, and they removed the paragraph from their
education policy that claimed that they did not want the theory of
intelligent design to be required to be taught in the public schools.
That claim had turned out to be a lie, and it was apparent that the
Discovery Institute did not support teaching intelligent design whether
it was required to be taught or not. That modified education policy was
their standard until it was rewritten and returned to the "not required"
to be taught language around the time that they had to run the bait and
switch on the Utah creationist rubes in 2017. The current education
policy is what the West Virginia and Dakota legislators fell for.

Any creationists that can still fall for the ID scam at this late date
have to be so corrupt and stupid that it is difficult to believe that
such legislators could exist, but they obviously do.

    Current briefing packet for educators:
    https://www.discovery.org/f/1453/

    Current education policy:
    https://www.discovery.org/a/3164/

The education policy that the ID perps put out after their loss in Dover
can be found on page 15 of the educators briefing packet.

The paragraph that was deleted from the education policy after the bait
and switch in 2013 on Texas and Louisiana:

    QUOTE:
Although Discovery Institute does not advocate requiring
the teaching of intelligent design in public schools, it
does believe there is nothing unconstitutional about
voluntarily discussing the scientific theory of design in
the classroom. In addition, the Institute opposes efforts
to persecute individual teachers who may wish to discuss
the scientific debate over design in an objective and
    pedagogically appropriate manner.
    END QUOTE:

They did not make the changes in their briefing packet and continued to
claim that it was still legal to teach ID outside of Dover, and that
they had a scientific theory of ID to teach.

The bait and switch will continue as long as there are creationist rubes
too stupid and dishonest to realize that there is no ID creation science
worth teaching. No creationist rubes will ever get any ID science to
teach from the ID perp scam artists.
