Something I saw on a web page

    https://www.butterfliesandwheels.org/2025/dont-be-so-schewpid/

illustrates the sort of person Jane Goodall was. Can you imagine Donald
    J. Trump to be sufficiently amused by a cartoon that mocked him to have
    it made into a tea-shirt?

In her last words she named Trump as one of the people that should be
loaded onto Elon Musk's rockets and shipped to another planet so that
they could do what they wanted to do to each other.

This reminds me of the ending of "Don't Look Up". And since I mention
it, the entire movie reminds me of DT and his administration.

The interview covered most of her life, but the main thing that she
wanted to say was that everyone had the power to make things better for
the planet. As an individual among billions you might not think that
your actions amount to much, but that if enough individuals do what they
can to deal with the current situation your actions can make a
difference. She did not suggest what should be done, she just wanted
everyone to try to do what they could to make things better for the
planet and everyone and everything on it, and not just for themselves.

Nobody sane says to themselves "Today I'm going to make the planet
worse." The problem is, different people have different ideas of what
makes the planet better, and most of those ideas conflict with each
other. The challenge then, is to teach everybody to celebrate
differences, in contrast to making everybody think the same way.
