In researching the ID creationist scam I found this article. When I
lived in Utah I used to support an organization that was supposed to
support the education of disadvantaged children. I donated money to the organization for several years, but then it was exposed that they were
only spending the legal minimum of 5% of their take on their program,
and were mostly having coloring books printed.

The article above accuses the ID scam as being a con-profit scam. He
wrote the article in 2013. At that time the ID perps were only claiming
to be using 13% of their take to support the ID scam. The rest was used
for salaries and administrative costs. Not only that, but the author
claims that most of the 13% was "phony" grants given to ID perps or the Biologic Institute (the research wing of the ID scam). ID perps like Klinghoffer who were major ID scam propagandists were given grants
instead of being salaried.

Things likely have not changed. It should be noted that the ID perps
have closed down the Biologic institute. It may just be virtual at this
time, and absolutely no progress has been made in producing any valid ID science. Zero progress in producing any evidence that there is
intelligent design in nature. They claim that some of their fellows
have published scientific research, but none of it seems to support intelligent design creationism. None of them have tried to test or
validate any positive support for ID scam science. If they have tried
they have never claimed to have made the attempt nor published the results.

All ID has been used for is as Bait in order to continue their Wedge
efforts for more than 2 decades. The creationist rubes have never
gotten any of the promised ID science to teach, and the bait and switch
has gone down 100% of the time. The West Virginia legislator had the
bait and switch run on her twice within a year because she was too
stupid to understand that the bait and switch had gone down the first
time when the ID perps made her remove mentioning ID from the act and
replace it with switch scam language.

Astrology is a growing bogus business on the Web. The estimated 3
billion dollar business likely make the ID perps salivate, but they have
a long way to go. Behe claimed that ID was equivalent to Astrology of
the dark ages so it may be a few centuries until the ID scam has as big
a take as Astrology.
