Native American are believed to be derived by several migrations of East
Asian Modern humans. Their Asian ancestors did not directly interbreed
with Denisovans as did other Asian populations of Modern humans. The Denisovan alleles came from the Denisovans interbreeding with
Neanderthals before the migration of Modern Humans out of Africa around
60,000 years ago. The Denisovan alleles were among the Neanderthal
genome introgressed into Modern Humans when they first left Africa
before they expanded out into Asia and Europe.
