Putin being ex KGB is ruthless. He was trained that way and it's indoctrinated in his being.
IMHO the current Putin is far different than the Putin during the
first Trump term.
Back then Trump was an unknown and thus Putin tread lightly as he
studied Trump. During the Biden administration, Putin continued to
study Trump's behavior and currently I believe he has a very good
assessment of how Trump will react to various situations.
This is a different Putin and I'm not sure Trump is able to deal with
him like in the first term.
