That was the whole point of leaving the Church of England, and
starting a new country here in the States.
THERE IS NO OFFICIAL RELIGION OF THE U.S.A. YOU CAN WORSHIP AND
PRAY TO ANY GOD(S) OF YOUR CHOOSING, per The CONSTITUTION.
If we had a government ruled by Christianity, then worshiping any other religion would be either relegated to 2nd class status, or even made
illegal.
That wouldn't be too different than a Muslim Caliphate.
