• Platforms for free speech or for heat and hate escalation?

Been thinking, and somehow I determined that the practice of
colleges and universities hosting sessions that are run by
individuals like Kirk for free speech is nothing but
irresponsible and could be considered border line for an
intentional effort to frustrate younger people and impact their
    mental health.

These individuals are not coming to promote free speech, instead
every one of them comes with his own made opinions, biased agenda
    and/or political goals.

They are so dominant in their speeches, they override any question
or thoughts that contradict with their own opinion and agenda,
they override them at times with sarcasm that is cheered by other
students that identify to have the same opinions of the guest.
This doesn't bring peace or an agreement to any question getting
    asked.

The truth is that individuals that come forward to ask a question,
aren't looking for answers, but they are looking for
    support.

Have any of these guests or speakers changed their opinions after
any debate? I don't believe so.

These students are at vulnerable time in their lives. As a result
some of them will end up being more traumatized and others will
end up being more tense while the majority will feel more apart
    and distant from other groups.

This is why I believe these events should never happen in colleges
    and universities.

Some good points here. But then, when should these "younger people"
actually face reality and coexist in society and especially the
workplace environment? When they are 22+, 25, 38?

Workplaces don't care about political feelings, they simply want people
who will work and help the workplace. "Younger people" who have become 'educated' yet have a poor work ethic are quickly thrown aside. How does
    that help anything?

This is something you should have known already.
