• EPL Soph - suggestions?

So 2024-25 we had the brackets:

    1, 2-4, 5-7, 8-16, 17, 18-20

Brackets 1 and 18-20 are untouchable and stays.

Bracket 17 is to find the "last non-loser" and I'm very reluctant to
    removing that one.

But suggestions for dividing places 2-16? Of course especially regarding
    UEFA cups 26/27 qualification.

hmm. 5th place has a pretty fair chance of making the CL, so maybe
    separate it from 6 and 7 ?

OK adding 5, scrapping 17, reintroducing mid table split.

    How about...

    1
    2-4
    5
    6-7
    8-12
    13-17
    18-20

Sounds good. The general idea behind picking #17
was sound, but that spot is also more random than
the others - a team free from relegation worries
before the last matchday wonrCOt care if they end up
    there in the final table.

    Ciao,

The spreadsheet is done (bar a last checking for errors), but I have
problems with my website account. The ISPs first line support acknowledges
that it seems like I have done everything right from my end, and they have escalated to the senior support to find out why it still doesn't work.

I can, meanwhile, confirm the brackets (columns) to be
    1
    2-4
    5
    6-7
    8-12
    13-17
    18-20

And the order of the teams (rows):
    Arsenal
    Aston Villa
    Bournemouth
    Brentford
    Brighton
    Burnley
    Chelsea
    Crystal P
    Everton
    Fulham
    Leeds
    Liverpool
    Man City
    Man United
    Newcastle
    Nottingham
    Sunderland
    Tottenham
    West Ham
    Wolverhampton

So you can start creating the matrix for easy cut'n'paste into the form
when it gets available for download, if you like.

Max in a cell is 0.9994 and min is 0.0001.
