Is Mark now in charge of the FIFA Youth World Cup? New Caledonia????

Anyhow, I like that he picked Chile and all the games are in the
Santiago area. Somehow USA just knocked out Italy 3-0 in the QFs

I'm working on it. 1st I've got to find out which one is the World
Youth Cup. Is it the under 17 World Cup or the under 20 one or what?
They could all be described as World youth Cups couldn't they?

FIFA do not use the term FIFA Youth World Cup per se, they go
with FIFA U-20 World Cup and FIFA U-17 World Cup.

They could all be described as World youth Cups
    couldn't they?

They ARE both youth world cups... for different aged youths! ;-)

But I would consider the tournament currently going on in South
America as the 'main' youth World Cup. (But still, U20 World Cup
should really be used to avoid confusion at a later date.)

This is the Youth WC and always has been, all the other age categories
are just FIFA generating more tournaments. Hell they even have a Female toddlers World Cup now!

SO for those not following the FIFA youth cup aka the U-20, which I
believe means players can be up to 22 years old, we are now into the QFs.

Usually the top scorer in this tournament goes on to be the greatest
Argentine striker of all time. This year it is (so far) Maher Carrizo.
Pick him in your Fantasy thing if he has not already been picked.

Sadly New Caledonia did not make it to the KO stage, in fact they did
not win a game, not even a draw, but they did score a goal! Though they
did concede 20 some odd goals. The goal was scored vs USA in a 9-1
loss. For the record, even Cuba got a point in the group stage. I
    think every team did?

So the Qfs start today and even though Argentina will win it all as they always do, and this tourney is essentially a cup to see if anyonoe can
ko the Argies, maybe, just maybe some team like Japan or even USA might
    do it?

Mexico are the first team to get a chance to try and eliminate the
Argies. Mexico knocked out host Chile in the rd of 16 so we hate them.

We are getting some reports that Norway is the hottest team in football
right now, though I believe that is related more to the senior level,
but it will be interesting to see if they have some good youth players
    coming up?

    17:00
    Spain-a-a-a-a vs Colombia

Interesting game, where you just thought once Spain went up 2-1 they

    of a late 3-2 win.

    Norway-a-a-a-a vs-a France

    Estadio El|!as Figueroa Brander, Valpara|!so

    1-2
Norway tried to make a game of it in the end, but France might just be
the team to beat the Argies?

I suppose these results solidifies Mark's idea that European teams are
    over represented.
