I'm thinking of two men, unrelated to each other.
Can you identify them from the clues?
(No Googling please; These puzzles may have been posted before.)

    (1) Each of the two men created a famous phrase that might be described
    as a political prediction.
    (2) Neither of the two men ever won a Nobel prize.
    (3) Each of the two men had a half-sibling who *did* win a Nobel Prize.

    Hints:
Here are the two "political predictions" in an encrypted form:

** Betray a sovereign? The newlywed overvalued is.rCi
    rCi
** Appreciate cure; buffoonery conquer; rhetoric amuses.rCi

    Cheers,
    James

Answering in ROT13 to avoid spoiling things for anyone else.

I believe that Arivyyr Punzoreynva had a half-brother (on his father's
side) who won a Nobel Peace Prize. The prediction being referred to is
"crnpr va bhe gvzr" nsgre gur Zhavpu pbasrerapr gung prqrq
    Pmrpubfybinxvn gb Anmv Treznal.

I don't know who the other person was, nor have I solved the hints.

Congrats and Thank you! One down, one to go.

(The prediction you cite is often misquoted slightly.)

The method I used to hide the famous phrases is rather well known, I think,
and rather simple. Arguably simpler than rot13.

I don't know who the other person was, nor have I solved the hints.

I know you did *not* solve the hints because *you* gave the
slightly-misquoted version of the famous phrase. The hint reveals
    the correct quote.

Excited to be posting to rec.puzzles after a longish absence,
I've made a number of boring and useless posts. Sorry.

To enforce self-discipline I shall endeavor to include a new
puzzle with every post I make. Here comes a trivia question:

A species of great ape is acquiring notoriety for making
dramatic changes to Earth's climate. Are there any other life-forms
who've ever had such a distinction?
** Name at leazt one other lusty life family

Extra credit: WHY is the above puzzle related to the following?

At least two rec.puzzlers have indicated that they can read messages
hidden in the fashion of the Hints above.
BUT neither of afore-mentioned Nobel Prize winners have yet been named.

    Cheers,
    James
