the Stouffer's cheddar potatoes. Then a very good sale on Newman's

I don't buy frozen pizza any more. They never give instructions what

Is fish on your table tonight or something else? Going out to
eat and if not, grilling, baking, or stewing?

As soon as I press send on this post I'm heading to the kitchen
and it's going to be grilled cubed chicken and fried rice here.
I had no breakfast or lunch today and I'm /starving./

We went to an event at my granddaughter's school. The kids put on a haunted >house and there were a lot of venders selling food. People are literally hungry
in this town for street food. The town traffic was jammed with people trying to
get to the school. I gave my daughter 40 bucks and told her to get me some food.
She got me some grilled ahi - a very good choice. She also got a drink of coconut
water and lemons - with a topping of cotton candy.

Apart from the Hawaiian need to cover everything in a sauce, that

Blue Moon seems like the kind of beer that a 17 YO boy would use to
loosen up his 15 YO girlfriend. ;-)

in New York State, that's statutory rape, age of consent is 17

some of the girls i hung around with back then didn't need alcohol
to "loosen them up". all it took was a few beers and their legs

It is amazing how much some people spend on wedding receptions and
luxury honeymoons when they could be putting the money towards a house, especially these days when so many people have all but given up hope of buying a home.

It's pretty much a thank you dinner for all those that are going
to be in the wedding who've spent their money for expensive clothes,
time, helping with any planning, errands, fetching whatever to make
the day run smoothly.
Generally, the grooms family pays for the rehearsal dinner, but it's
no set rule who pays.

Our wedding was much simpler.
Parents, siblings, and siblings' spouses. We walked a few blocks to the church, got married, went back to my parents' house, had cake and a
light meal, opened gifts, thanked everyone, and drove off for a few days honeymoon.
That was 51 years ago, and we are still very much in love with each other.

The meal the day of the wedding after the ceremony is the reception.

And you didn't go into debt that you would probably spend a couple
of years paying off. Simple is pretty much the better solution, but
you know some like to 'put on the dog.' That's fine, just don't ask
me to chip in. I sometimes read some articles of how greedy the
bride /and/ groom can be with their requests and demands.

There aren't a lot of funerals happening these days. People seem to be opting for cremation and having a celebration of life, sometimes just a gathering at a bar.

She rivals my sister in law. She is on number 5 now. She has always
been drawn to characters and eventually tires of the character and moves
on. She has managed to keep this one for 20 years but I think she is
staying in it only because she is too old to start over. A couple years
ago she was seriously considering ending it but I encouraged her to
stick it out because he is over 80 and a wreck so she might as well

I dunno. I guess when there's nothing left to study and the insects
have had their fill, the bodies are disposed of somehow. Cremated
or turned into some sort of mulch? Julia Child chose cremation and
then was placed into a developing reef off the coast of Florida. It

house, especially these days when so many people have all but given up
hope of buying a home.
Houses?a I've got a couple of those for sale.a How many do you need?a ;)
We got married in Minden, NV. The wedding costs were extensive - $35 for the Justice of the Peace, and 3 buffet dinners at a casino in Reno. Looking back, we
should have put the money on a down payment on a home. Here's a picture of a gal
named Ophelia.

Ophelia is not from Minden. I know. Congrats on your Northern Nevada >marriage! You couldn't have picked a better place.
At one time, Nevada was great for divorces too. Six weeks residency and
you were out of it! I miss those times. Dude ranches were a thing. ;)
