I own guns and I have never shot anyone. They are used for putting holes

I once used a staple gun. I held it the wrong way and got a staple in

Most people that own guns have never shot a human being or thought they ever would - until they do. Quite a lot of people do shoot humans every year. Your husband is not so very special - gunwise, that is.

Despite being a gun owner I have to say that there are some gun owners
out there who are cause for concern. They openly discuss what guns have
the best stopping power and I suspect that some of them look forward to
the day they might get to use lethal force. I have read too many
reports of Americans shooting and killing innocent people and even
family members by mistake. It is really hard to get away with shooting
people here even in self defense. You can use lethal force if you are
truly in imminent danger of death or serious injury, but you can't go
out looking for it. You can't shoot people who are running away.

There are many responsible gun owners. Unfortunately, there are many
    stupid ones too.

Couple of months back, a group of teenagers went through a neighborhood
in Tampa and found/stole 14 guns left in cars. Seems it happens all over
    the US.

Plenty of people have been killed by family members, often kids, that
pick up a gun laying on a table and shoot a parent or sibling.

    https://everytownresearch.org/report/gun-thefts-from-cars-the-largest-source-of-stolen-guns-2/

    https://abc13.com/post/significant-jail-time-rare-after-kids-get-hold-of-guns/5697707/

    History of enforcement

A 2-year-old boy shot himself in the chest after his father allegedly
left a gun on the kitchen table last year in Harris County.

In 2011, a 6-year-old boy found a loaded handgun under a futon cushion
and took it to an elementary school in Houston, according to court
records. The gun fell out of his pocket and went off, shooting a
5-year-old in the foot. Later that year, a 15-year-old was paralyzed
from the shoulders down after his 13-year-old friend shot him using a
firearm left above a bar in the living room.

The most recent case was earlier this month, when a 3-year-old boy died
of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The Harris County Sheriff's Office
said the child appeared to have gained access to a pistol that was left
loaded inside the home and shot himself on Nov. 1.

The boy's father, Anthony Love, was charged Nov. 13 with making a
    firearm accessible to a child.

Every day in America, "eight children and teens are shot in instances of family fire - a shooting involving an improperly stored or misused gun
found in the home resulting in injury or death," according to Brady, a national gun violence prevention group.

It has come to my attention that some people view Mr. Charlie as a Christ-like figure. He shook up the establishment tree so that he could be sacrificed to pay for the sins of the nation.

That's probably not a good sign. The good news is that in this version of Jesus,
the savior is an actual white guy. There's room for two Christs is this world: one, a colored one that looks like a prime target for ICE, the other, the real deal that Americans can get behind.

Not sure Canada Post matters. Seems they use a shipping service that
takes good across the border to the US postal service in Montana.

AFAIK the tariff is 35%. I will pay it once if it helps Ted figure out
how to keep some of his US customers. They have been great for many
years. I should have stocked up before August 28 and it would be duty
    free.

I can buy tea from a place four miles from me and actually a bit

8x365/330,000,000 for a yearly percentage. Move the decimal in two

8x365/330,000,000 for a yearly percentage. Move the decimal in two

"We must assure that this never happens again" is a ridiculous argument.

Might be nice to reduce the body count, though.

There are many responsible gun owners.-a Unfortunately, there are many stupid ones too.

Couple of months back, a group of teenagers went through a neighborhood
in Tampa and found/stole 14 guns left in cars. Seems it happens all over
    the US.

Plenty of people have been killed by family members, often kids, that

    History of enforcement

A 2-year-old boy shot himself in the chest after his father allegedly
left a gun on the kitchen table last year in Harris County.

In 2011, a 6-year-old boy found a loaded handgun under a futon cushion
and took it to an elementary school in Houston, according to court
records. The gun fell out of his pocket and went off, shooting a 5-year-
old in the foot. Later that year, a 15-year-old was paralyzed from the shoulders down after his 13-year-old friend shot him using a firearm
left above a bar in the living room.

The most recent case was earlier this month, when a 3-year-old boy died
of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. The Harris County Sheriff's Office
said the child appeared to have gained access to a pistol that was left loaded inside the home and shot himself on Nov.

There was a man in Memphis who was shot by his dog. He left the loaded
gun on a table and the dog knocked it off and it discharged and shot the
man who was sitting on the couch. Oops. Idiots should not be allowed
to own guns. The Brady Law doesn't do nearly enough.

Wow. That is pathetic. When I was a teen we had to take a hunter safety
course to get a hunting license. Later in we had to get PAL to buy
firearms and ammunition and when I wanted to get a handgun I had to take another safety course. The first thing you do when you pick up any
firearm is check to make sure it is unloaded and to make sure that it is
    never pointed at any person.

I have some serious concerns with people and guns too. My wife is having some hassles with a co-worker so I'm hoping she does not have a gun. My ex-boss used to have some beautiful revolvers - the best you ever saw. He was a Mormon so he's probably not going to plug anybody.
I don't have any guns but I don't trust myself with something so powerful.
My brother owns a gun - he's a sky-marshal, among other things. It's an awesome responsibility to carry a gun - you might have to use it to kill somebody someday.
That would be too hard to bear for me.

That's religious people for you. A lot of them will kill for money or love. I'm
