I wonder if there is something about grape pop
that makes it impossible to use an artificial
sweetener and not have it taste like crap.
I envy you. Cherries do a number on my guts and I limit myself to 3 or 4 cherries in a day and then avoid them for a day or two before having
more. Sour cherries in a pie aren't quite as bad on me. It's really
annoying because there are plenty of cherry orchards around here. One
local farm has its own processing plant and make all kinds of things
with their fruit. They have pails of frozen pitted cherries, dried
cherries, chocolate covered dried cherries, cherry jam and jelly. Their
big seller is sour cherry juice concentrate. It is great remedy for arthritic joints. My wife has some every day and it really helps her.

Do they grow sweet cherries? Thought it was too cold in your area for
sweet cherries. Sour/pie cherries can be fairly sweet if not picked too
soon. Often the birds get the really good cherries before they can be picked. Never saw a robin or blue jay I liked!
