Have you booked passage yet? The earlier you book the cheaper it will
be. Also probably the best chance in that region for clear skies. Much better than Niagra.

Weird. Don't think I've ever been to Des Moines. I need to glance at a
map to see if I have even been through Iowa, but I don't think so.
Generally I take I40 going cross country. Sometimes I8/10 if I am
towing a load so I don't have to climb up over the rim, and then go
north further east. Still have to go over the divide, but its not so
    bad down south.

    Yeah, Nope. Probably not.

Temps are still warm. 316K here today.

Still to hot (according to the instructions) to spray that layer of foam
I want on the under side (yes underside) of the new carports I put out
back of the shop to make working outside tolerable.

Does that foam need a machine to apply ? I've got to do something in
my carport-become-machine shop . I have some Styrofoam insulation
kinda-sorta installed in the roof but it ain't nearly enough .

Nope. Just a bunch of cans with an applicator nozzle for each can. I
have no idea if its any good. Supposed to be closed cell foam
(waterproofing is primary for me), and it is supposed to cover 480sq ft
one inch thick. One of my carports leaked like a sieve in the last
rain. Even an inch of foam will also have the benefit of blocking some
heat on a hot day. I do not know if the stuff is any good, but here is
a link to what I bought.

    https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0F1TT38C7?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title&th=1

Still Need to pickup a new suit/shield/respirator before I get to it.

A good solution for you , but I don't need the waterproofing . I can get
640 sf of one inch foam board (at guesstimated $18 per 4x8 sheet) for
about the same price . I only have about 300 sf wall/ceiling space and
most of it already has one inch .
