I guess what they mean is that "home schooled" (read catholic schooling) have a whole lot more common sense than public schooled children who are taught that DEI is all that matters and not learning of any sort.

The "DEI-nonsense" in New Zealand seems to be based on the idea that for
a "school competition" (as opposed to a "national youth competition"),
kids should normally attend a public school, with the exemption that non-school participants are sometimes allowed to compete as guests but
    not become "school champion";
this is similar to my grandad who as a rower from Bohemia was allowed to compete as guests in the German Rowing Championships 1922 but not
elegible to the title "German Champion" as Bohemia was not part of Germany.

I guess what they mean is that "home schooled" (read catholic
schooling) have a whole lot more common sense than public schooled
children who are taught that DEI is all that matters and not
    learning of any sort.

"Home Schooled" does not mean "schooled in a School run by the Catholic Church". Are you trying to claim that Catholic parents should school
    their kids at home?

In Europe you find that any schools with more than 500 years of
tradition are abbey schools run by the Catholic Church; the first "city schools" were founded as recently as 1525 after the new-fangled ideas of
Mr Gutenberg and Mr Luther changed everything ;-)

This New Zealand issue is exactly that. There are no politics involved here.

Big surprise: attendees of Catholic Schools in New Zealand are elegible
to compete in School Competitions and win Schoool Championships, too.

Only home-schooled children are excluded from school competitions in
some sports and may compete but not win the school championships in
    other sports.

Catholic school children are not excluded, you stupid twat. The
competition is open to all children that attend accredited schools. It's
only home-schooled children that are excluded - which by definition are
    _not_ children in catholic schools.

FFS, talk about showing supreme ignorance time and time again.
