    As I showed the calcu;lations here - at most IF a nab could yutn over a gear as big as SRAM he could increase his speed 4 mph. That is pretty difficult to show how stopping that makes anything safer when accidents aren't being caused by speed but rather by riding on the wheel in front of you so that any sudden reduction in speed causeds overlaps and swedrves.
