I had 8 hours of sleep lat night and the first half of the ride wen't pretty well, I even climbed the steep grade halfway up the canyon in the 28 without having to drop downa gear. But then I started having stomach problems. Stoach pains persisten until I got home an exploded into diarhia After a shower and a shave we went out to lunch. My wife bought for a change. I put three packets of sugar into my Ice Tea and it took all lunch for them to start having any effect.
Ann was talking to the woman on the table next to us and I suppose that I should have spoken to the husband but I was simply too tired.
I did ride over Fairmont Hill and I think that I peaked my maximum heart rate but I wasn't wearing the heart rate monitor And although I put new batteries in the Cadence and Speed sensors, they didn't work. They did while I was changing batteried because they did register their serial numbers. But Garmin didn't show cadence and the mileage looked the same as always with GPS registering. They could have done a better job of fitting the battery inside the cases. On the new heart monitor they simply screw the case down.
I am tired but not exhausted now that the sugar has taken full effect.

Well, one of your problems is that what you call blood suger isn't
suger at all. It is Blood glucose, often called blood sugar, but is in
fact glucose and sugar are not the same thing. The sugar we eat is
sucrose, a compound with both fructose and glucose and found in all
green plants. Glucose is found in all carbohydrates, including fruits, vegetables, dairy and grains and can also be made by our bodies.
So much for your sugar in the ice tea theory.

John, try to control yourself. Table sugar is a combination of glucose and fructose. One readily available to your systen and the other readily broken down into glucose.
