Rather than making a single build, it appears that several people here believe that I enjoy simply switching components around. I can only assume they think that because they are not mechanically minded enough to make complete builds themselves and have a need to make deleterious comments to hide their own incapacity.
While I like building bikes from scratch jf it was anything other than that wouldn't you think that I would say so?
Have I ever held back on my thoughts in this group?

Do you believe that Andrew is "not mechanically minded"? He was the
only person who mentioned your habit of juggling components:

If it was something other than building bicycles from scratch, such as
your assembly errors, component failures, your inability to understand instructions, compatibility issues, etc, you might have mentioned it,
but only if you could blamed someone else, such as the manufacturer,
vendor, dealer, design, Democrats etc.
Have I ever held back on my thoughts in this group?
You've never failed to provide your opinions. What's lacking are
numbers, sources, corroboration, fact checking and details. I have no problem with you expressing your opinion, as long as you make it clear
that it's your opinion and not a demonstrable fact.

Flunky was arguing that you didn't have to look down at the levers when you shift friction shifters. I have no question that he did that. But professionals did look down because in a peleton moving at 25 mph you cannot afford to make a mistake. Flunky has never been anything but an amateur and shoulkd not argue what professionals do. Robinson repeated just what I said.
Liebermann, your ignoirance is plain everytime you post.
I prefer to build bikes ONCE.
You prefer to talk about things you know nothing about.
Perhaps you can explain to me what the hell you know about the Air Force? Why would say ANYTHING about the Air Force?
I was an electronics technician buiulding the BCC Model 1. Why would you DARE to say anything about it when you probably have no idea of how to solder IC's into a model board and solder wires from point to point?
Is there ANYTHING you don't believe you know about even though you never worked at it in your life?
Why don't you everr have the sense to STFU?
I warned everyone here that Covid-19 was not dangerous to anyone of normal health. You ran right out and got vaccinated with mRNA GMO's. The latest paper out of Japan using 18 million residents shows that ALL of the excess deaths were among the "vaccinated" and none among the non-vaccinated.
I told you that man-made climate change was pure bullshit but you with all of the knowledge of Google said otherwise. Hearings in Congress SHOWED that Mann counterfeited the climate data just like I said he did.
You are not even normally intelligent, Liebermann and you of ALL people should know that. Everything you do is embarrassing. I have no idea why you're on a bicycle group since if you ever rode a bicycle you certainly have in living memory. Still, there could be things you could add, but you want to prove how smart you are. How has that worked out for you?

What does all that have to do with my comments? Are you addicted to
topic drift when you have nothing worthwhile to say?
Liebermann, your ignoirance is plain everytime you post.
I'm getting rather tired of your chronic spelling errors. They all
involve hitting an adjacent key on the keyboard. A simple spelling
checker could fix the problem. Yet, you don't seem to be using one.
Is that because you are blind and are using a reader? If that's your problem, I'll try to tolerate your typing errors and possibly offer
you my sympathy.
I prefer to build bikes ONCE.
I used to buy junk bicycles, repair them, and give them to friends and neighbors. Mostly college age kids who needed something ride around
the campus. Some ended up crashed or stolen. I refused to fix these
on the theory that they would be forced to learn how to fix and
maintain their bicycles. That didn't work as I had expected. <https://www.learnbydestroying.com/jeffl/pics/bicycles/5bikes.JPG>
You prefer to talk about things you know nothing about.
When confronted with something that I know nothing about, I read about
the topic, ask questions and learn new things. You don't.
Perhaps you can explain to me what the hell you know about the Air Force? Why would say ANYTHING about the Air Force?
If you dig into the archives, I mostly asked you questions, which you
rarely were willing or able to answer. I did ask you to look for a photograph of yourself at an Air Force base. That was a mistake. I
didn't think that it might have been a security problem.
I was an electronics technician buiulding the BCC Model 1. Why would you DARE to say anything about it when you probably have no idea of how to solder IC's into a model board and solder wires from point to point?
You couldn't provide your proper title from the DD214 which you

not.

I've lived in my "shack" and heated with firewood for about 52 years
so far. It worked well until just recently, when I discovered that I
was getting older. My cardiologist tells me that the exercise doing
firewood and going up 50 stairs keeps me alive. I can still cut,
buck, haul and split local firewood, but am finding it more difficult
as I get older. I had to buy 2 cords of firewood this year. <https://photos.app.goo.gl/47NPs5YQAt4k9yDW7>
I'm not sure I can continue doing that forever. Thank you for your

You're using the wrong definition of profanity: <https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Profanity>
"Profanity, also known as swearing, cursing, or cussing, is the usage
of notionally offensive words for a variety of purposes, including to demonstrate disrespect or negativity, to relieve pain, to express a
strong emotion (such as anger, excitement, or surprise), as a
grammatical intensifier or emphasis, or to express informality or conversational intimacy."
I also don't use profanity in public but have been known to use
profanity when nobody is listening.

That's rather harsh. Where did you get that idea? I may have
disappointed my father by not taking over the family lingerie
manufacturing business. I also wasn't the ideal son when my father
had a stroke. If anything, I might be accused of having deserted my
father. Are you perhaps projecting your family history?
I really don't like saying these things
Then, don't say them. Apologizing doesn't absolve you of anything.
but they are the truth
That's really interesting considering your history of getting your
numbers, units of measure and facts wrong.
and you continue to provoke them because I don't believe that a total loser is the world's smartest man.
Provoke whom? The world's smartest man thinks your confused statement
above is gibberish.

Am I supposed to be heart broken because you don't believe that I have money because I have always been able to do things that you couldn't even dream of? Things that pay?
If you do not like my postings simply stop reading them.
Stop replying with a level if ignorance that shows to the whole world that you are stupid.

Thanks. I prefer to save profanity for special occasions. Profanity
also tends to lose potency if used excessively. If feel the need to
be insulting, there are easier and better ways that do not require
profanity.
Vulgarity...

"Profanity is the effort of a feeble brain to express itself
forcibly."
"Profanity never indicates high station or a well bred person. It is
an evidence of low breeding, of limited ideas and a weak mind."
"Profanity: a strong way of expressing a weak mind."
In wshich case, your entire life has been a profanity.
You're using the wrong definition of profanity:
<https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Profanity>
"Profanity, also known as swearing, cursing, or cussing, is the usage
of notionally offensive words for a variety of purposes, including to
demonstrate disrespect or negativity, to relieve pain, to express a
strong emotion (such as anger, excitement, or surprise), as a
grammatical intensifier or emphasis, or to express informality or
conversational intimacy."
I also don't use profanity in public but have been known to use
profanity when nobody is listening.
Explain to everyone again why you couldn't get a job?
We've been through that several times. Would you like me to write an
FAQ so that you won't be burdened by having to repeatedly ask the same
questions because you can't remember my answer?

At least we can be thankful tommy wasn't given the opportunity to
pollute the world with his own offspring.

On Mon, 22 Sep 2025 16:12:05 GMT, cyclintom <cyclintom@yahoo.com>Exactly how do you know anything about lies and distortions when you have posted lie after lie and distortion after distortion. Not one word out of your mouth can be trusted. Only a dumshit would tell everyone that I'm lying about riding conditions on Cull Canyou by using a Google Earth photo that is undated and not during the time frame discussed. Only a freak wouold claim that there was not water behine a dam that was used to supply water to all the local fire hydrants. You even lied that the swimming hole was being used in the park when you could SEE it being filled with mud on the picture you referenced. You somehow could not believe the sign that warned people away from the dam saying "Keep Out - Deep Mud"

I don't disapprove of your spelling errors. I disapprove of you not
exerting any effort to eliminate your spelling errors. The errors
might be the result of sloppy typing, intoxication, peripheral
neuropathy, defective keyboard, etc. Whatever, the cause, it's your responsibility to make your rants readable and intelligible.
Stop reading my postings.
How will that fix your mistakes, lies and distortions?
Am I supposed to be heart broken because you don't believe that I have money because I have always been able to do things that you couldn't even dream of? Things that pay?
If you're having heart problems, I suggest you see a cardiologist. If
you can make money doing that, I'll be very impressed.
If you do not like my postings simply stop reading them.
It's not that easy. Over the years, I've entertained myself finding
your mistakes and correcting your errors. It has become a major part
of my lifestyle. Worse, I've found it enjoyable finding your mistakes
and correcting you errors.
Stop replying with a level if ignorance that shows to the whole world that you are stupid.
That's the third time you've demanded that I stop replying to your
comments. Are you desperate? Do you believe that repetition is a
good substitute for intelligent discourse? How can you be so cruel so
as to suggest that I abandon my favorite pastime and greatest source
of entertainment?
I thought you wanted to attract attention. You didn't mention that
the only attention you consider acceptable is from those who agree
with you. I was under the impression that rec.bicycles.tech was a
discussion group and not an announcement group, as it would be if the
only discussions to prevail were those that agreed with your
assertions.
Incidentally, I spent about 45 minutes writing a detailed reply to
your previous comments, which you completely ignored. You then
wandered off into irrelevant topics and demands. Discussing anything
with you is a waste of my time.

over-populate. All else is unimportant. At least Tom was able to
accomplish the first two items. I haven't done any better and also
don't have any offsprings (which I know about).
