I only did 32 miles today because I felt my legs weakening at 15 miles
out. I'd ridden 40 miles Sunday and I should have given myself three
days to recover, but today was beautiful and tomorrow threatens rain.
Lifting the Catrike into the new truck isn't a big problem yet even
though it's significantly higher than the Frontier's tailgate, but
it's ackward and it's going to get worse for this 81 year old guy.
My setup requires that the back wheel goes in first. The bike isn't
too heavy to lift, but it must be lifted from just behind the front
wheels and directing the rear wheel into the truck bed and following
with the wide front wheels is awkward.
I have some ideas on how to solve the problem. We'll see how it goes.
