The group was full of piss and vinegar again today and at one point on the way out to the coffee shop, I was averaging 15 mph trying to keep up. But as usual, on the way back they were not so fast and my average fell to 11.4 mph. After I bgot home I picked the 1020 off of the charger and totally reset it. That completely erased the extra rides showiung up.
I have 455 miles dfor the month so far and 5 riding days left till the end of the month. That suggests thta I shoulde make more miles this month than I did last month.
My Park Tool oversized shaft sawing guide came in yesterday and I cut the seat post for the Colnago Master X Lite down to size. That left more seatpost in the seat tube than out of it. I also received the shim for the 1" to 1 1/8" stem. Since I decided not to worry about bike weight anymore, I'm using one of the padded Flight saddles rather than the unpadded EC-90 saddles which saves a lot of weight but can bother you after awhile.
Sunday was a loger ride, a more carewful ride into the wind and after resetting the 1030 I forgot that I have to reinstitute the auto-pause. So the average speed was nothing more than noise. The 27 miles plus 30 minute stop at the coffee shop only used 5% of the battery capacity but since it charges off of the USB port, it takes forever to charge.

The xx30 line up have fairly good battery runtimes, the 1030 with its
larger screen has potential to drop quicker, than the 830.

If itrCOs charging slowly that will be due to using a low power USB port on
the computer, than the device which should charge up rapidly, after all
itrCOs a fairly small device and thus battery.

Charging time is not an issue since`My rides average 2 1/2 hours. The rest of the time they are on the charger. I'm sure you're right that the USB port is a slow charger.
