Do you ride in the thick fog? This morning I went out to ride about 1
hour before sunrise. Thick fog happening here in mornings. Sometimes I
ride in it in places that are well lighted. Today I did not. It was
thick and if I go in the country even with lights that seems like a
dangerous plan. I have in the past but getting more careful. In this
instance the trainer just seem better but otherwise the temps and wind
are perfect for riding. I just don't want to wait till later in day.

Off road yup sure assuming navigation isnrCOt an issue ie areas I know and IrCOm prepared for the low temperatures.

In London sure speeds tend to be low, and I can always avoid any roads I
think might be iffy plus lots of parks and so on around my part of london.

Big fast roads? IrCOd probably not for pleasure at least, though such roads/conditions are fairly hard work by car as well.

Although we have fog around here, it never seriously affects vision. Though you have to be careful on bike paths because the nut cases who think they are racing might not know you're there.
