A Vincent Black Shadow from the 50's is worth a great deal more than "thens of thousands of dollars". I think that I saw ONE of them in person.

Seem to range 50K up to 100K Sterling:

or, over here, similar in dollars:

Cars sold by Jay Leno go for typically TWICE what they are worth otherwise. I'm sure that they sane thing would happen with Billy Joel. And that would be from the highest end of the spectrum.

My Grandfather had a Vincent as a young man, wasnrCOt terribly reliable if
fast i believe he may have destroyed it in the end!

He took an interest in my Dads Kawasaki Ninja was in many ways really silly bike for where they live! As it was heavy and couldnrCOt manage some of the hairpin bends! But it did shine on bigger roads.

I had 3 Trimphs back in the day. I either had two Daytonas, 500cc and
one Bonneville, 650cc or vice versa. They were much better handling
than the Yamaha Virago 1100CC I had later on. The Kawasaki Scrambler
(it was 2 cycle, a 250 or 350) was better handling than all the
others. I loved that bike. There were a couple of others that I don't
remember well enough to talk about.
