At the half way mark of the monty I have 286 miles putting me on co0urse to hit the same as last month.
Trying to do level 1 rides rather than level 2 rides again gave me a higher than normal average speed. A little slower than Tuesday but I also caught myself pushing it rather than trying to make a recovery ride.
Also I feel better and am not as tired at the end of the ride.
When I oopened the Garmin up today, it said that it had updates so I installed them. Now I expect Liebermann will tell me that there were no updates and that I'm lying. It also said that there are 12 updates waiting for the 830. So as soon as the 1030 ia fully charged I will put the 830 on and install all of the updates.
The updates have had a remarkable effect on average speed. It appeared that the average speed readings were somehow connected to the lap speed but now it is connected to the total moving time meaning that the average speed moves quite slowly.

While it showed 12 updates when I had the 1030 connected, when I connected the 830 it showed everything as being up tp date. Next ride I will use the 830 and see if the averaging works as it has been doing on the 1030.

Another 27 miles today and the mileage so far this month is over 400 miles. I should get close to the over 500 miles I had last month.
There is something not working correctly with the 1030 so Saturday I will use the 830 to see if it acts the same. The 1030 is showing rides on my off days. If you remember I was complaining that I was missing rides before and the lengths of these extra rides matches the missing rides So although the dates are incorrect, the distances are probably right. But I would prefer to have it correct rather than catching up.

I put in another flat Bay Faerm Island ride tiday with an 11 mph average speed and getting home I was not exhausted. I tried to ride in Zone 1 but everytime I looked qt the Speedo I saw that I was in Zone 2. I returned home at 11:15 when my normal time would have been 11:45.
Chris Robinson got in my Campy Shamal spokes. That was lucky since Campy rarely m akes spares for more than a couple of years after they produced a component. So I should have my broken spoke repaired in the next couple of days if he doesn't get a load of work in. That will put the Time back in action.
I was going to use a tubeless Presta filler but there was something wrong with it and the presta valve wouldn't open. So I ordered another set. While getting those I noticed a set of Bontrager X light wheels for cheap and got those. I like the Bontrager aluminum wheels and Keith is only distributing carbon wheels now.
I'm surprised that I haven't had any responses to the Ebay listings of the DeRosa's or the Mowser M82. I did some price comparison's and I'm selling cheap! But it took a month for my brother to sell his Look 595.
