3 MIND-BLOWING REASONS ALIENS WONT INVADE EARTH:
Why don't aliens invade Earth? For decades, science fiction has told us to fear hostile extraterrestrials descending on our planet for resources, conquest, or domination. But the truth may be far stranger-and far more unsettling. In this video, we explore 3 reasons why alien civilisations would avoid invading Earth:

Reason 1 - Earth's resources are insignificant compared to the cosmic abundance of water, metals, and energy scattered across asteroids, moons,
    and gas giants.
Reason 2 - Humans are too dangerous and unpredictable, willing to unleash nuclear weapons, biological warfare, and total destruction rather than surrender.
Reason 3 - The universe may be hunted by apex predators or governed by hidden rules, where silence is survival and reckless species risk attracting something far worse.

If advanced extraterrestrials truly exist, they wouldn't see Earth as a
prizea they'd see it as a liability. Join us as we dive into the Fermi Paradox, alien invasion theories, cosmic predators, and the dark silence
    of the universe.

I watched PLAY DIRTY on the Prime with Mark Wahlberg starring as author
Richard Stark's long-running Parker character, who I didn't realize has been portrayed for decades in various films by Lee Marvin, Jim Brown, Robert
Duvall, Peter Coyote, Mel Gibson, Jason Statham, and now Mark Wahlberg.

This movie is a wholly original story, not based on any of the books. It's a heist movie but didn't feel like it was a standard retread of the genre. Some humor, lots of violence, a little nudity. I was entertained.

I've been watching Rome, the HBO series from nearly 20 years back, and
just finished it today (Oct 13). I have never seen it before, although I remember it being talked about back in the day. I don't know why I
didn't see it then - presumably, there was something else that appealed
to me more, although I don't recall what that was - but I'm glad I
finally got around to it, thanks to the suggestion of a good friend who
said it's the most realistic TV depiction of life in ancient Rome. Only
2 seasons and 22 episodes, alas....

Although I'm quite interested in history, I've mostly concerned myself
with the 19th and 20th centuries, not the ancient world. As a result,
Rome cleared up some of my misconceptions and misunderstandings about
the lives of Julius Caesar, Marc Anthony, Cleopatra and Brutus.

You can see the roots of important parts of our modern world, thankfully modified substantially by the abolition of slavery, far better medicine,
    and considerably more human rights.

Not yet. If I had to guess, the episode I watched most of on Sunday
night was a rerun of the season #2 finale.

It looks like next Sunday night is the season #3 premiere.

The X1 box refused to record it. This episode was
    well written, huh?

Ha ha ha. You kidder! You kidder!!

    Hey, thanks for asking!

I finished watching THE DAIN CURSE, a 1978 miniseries starring James Coburn
as the detective. It took me a few days to get through it and I still donrCOt understand it anymore than I do THE BIG SLEEP, which my watching of got
TUBI to suggest I watch The Dain Curse.

Then with those two under my belt, the TUBI decided I must want to watch
Jack the Ripper movies. So it showed me Murder by Decree with James Mason
as Dr Watson, and then fired up a Michael Caine two parter called Jack the Ripper, and thenrCa Something else with Jack the RipperrCa And then a series called Jack the RipperrCa I fell asleep and it ran Jack the Ripper movies all night.

    PING BTR
The Tubi has HUMAN TARGET! Mrs. Pucci and all!

I also watched as much as I intend to of THE gLISTENER. It went downhill
fast after the first few episodes. They killed off cute cop and replaced
her with skanky cop. I ended up just watching episodes where major events
like character replacements happened and then the final finale. There was a
two year gap between seasons one and two which ended up causing people not
to be available and they change the whole series format. There are a
couple of IanrCys favorite redheads in it although neither of them is a redhead.
