    I watched:

ANTHONY CUMIA: KAMALA HARRIS'S CURSING TIRADE:
Ant breaks down Kamala Harris's recent speech moment that
went from polished to sh*ty in seconds. With his trademark
humor, he takes a look at how politicians try to sound
profound - and what happens when it goes off the rails. https://youtu.be/WBvgo-kBRH4?si=JVuyU6dlwJSXHplM

ANTHONY CUMIA: "PLUS SIZE PARK HOPPERS" = FATTIES AT DISNEY:
Disney got folks treating the park like it's an Olympic event - strategizing snack breaks, stroller shortcuts, and mobility scooters like they're Formula 1 pit crews. 'Plus Size Park Hoppers' sounds less like a fan club and more
    like a survival unit.

JON STEWART LOSES HIS COOL WITH DEMOCRATS FOR SAYING THIS ABOUT HUNTER BIDEN PARDON:
Dave Rubin of "The Rubin Report" shares a DM clip of The Daily Show's Jon Stewart doubling down on violent rhetoric with his smearing of ICE agents trying to capture illegal immigrants and attacking the Democratic Party
    for being weak.

KAMALA HARRIS GOES ON CURSING TANGENT DROPPING F-BOMBS TO EMPHASIZE HER DISLIKE OF TRUMP TEAM:
Link Lauren breaks down Kamala Harris' book tour where she is
cursing and dropping F-bombs on stage to emphasize her dislike
for the Trump Administration. Plus, Link dives into Jimmy
    Kimmel's tanking ratings.

Okay, I *need* to watch this.

I tried Peacemaker, on HBO MAX. It was decent, though a little raunchy
for my taste. I guess I should expect that from HBO MAX, since they
think raunchiness makes them grown up. It was interesting enough that
I'd try it again, although I'm not hooked yet.

The Peacemaker is a supersoldier with no war, sort of a Captain
America type but riddled with flaws. He seems to be in the DC universe,
since someone referenced Aquaman as a real person. He sees himself as
an advocate for peace, no matter how many people he has to kill, but
everyone else regards him as simply a superpowered hit man.

I fell asleep and missed the ending, so he may have had an ephiphany
about that. I'm not going to bother rewatching the ending; e2 will
    probably have a summary anyway.

Peacemaker isn't really a supersoldier since he didn't take any serum
and has no enhanced abilities. They even comment on it in an episode referring to him as just a costumed vigilante. His sidekick is
literally called Vigilante and is similarly a regular guy wearing a
costume. They both just like to kill the bad guys, who are sometimes
good guys who they confuse with bad guys. Or really, really, evil guys
who they confuse for good guys. But hey, that's our Peacemaker.

The show is set in the current DC universe. It was originally set in
the "Snyderverse" (Peacemaker was also featured in "The Suicide Squad
which James Gunn directed). But when James Gunn took over running DC,
he kept the show and retconned the show to be set in his new DC universe.

It can be a little confusing because they retained some actors and the
events of the past movies are still cannon, while obviously getting a
new Superman and ignoring certain other major events and characters.
The way Gunn described it, the past movie events are cannon if they are directly referenced in the new stuff.

I fell asleep and missed the ending, so he may have had an ephiphany
about that. I'm not going to bother rewatching the ending; e2 will

    The show gets better.

    On Wednesday I watched:

Slingshot (Showtime) - This is a 2024 sci-fi movie starring Casey
Affleck and Laurenec Fishburne. Affleck plays an astronaut on a mission
to Titan but the mission starts to run into problems with the crew. The
movie reminded me of "Pandorum" only not as good.

Survivor - There was a major medical emergency this episode. I'm sure
there is probably a rule written down somewhere, that I guess they maybe follow. But as a longtime viewer who only casually pays attention, it
feels like they are inconsistent with how they handle medical
emergencies in terms of how they allow it to impact the game. Anyway,
it lead to a very interesting tribal council.

They don't really care so long as they get to kill things.

It really depends on the emergency. I missed that part of last night's
show because of issues, but did see the snake bite last episode. Some
medical emergencies are such that the player doesn't get taken away
and gets better and so returns. I think if a player has to go off to a
hospital then that's it, the player is out for the season.

As you say the TC was interesting. Was sort of a throwback to
Stephanie Lagrossa being the last person standing from her tribe.

I also got in the last two episodes of HIGH POTENTIAL where in they
brought the serial killer version of GRIMM (who was also a serial
killer, just a good guy killer unlike the character on this show) to a
quick conclusion. Sort of expected he would be an on-going plot issue
that they would trot out every two or three episodes for at least the
season if not keep around for more potential seasons.

Peacemaker is DC's attempt at copying Deadpool's success.
