    This exposes the state of journalism in California. These Democrats are used
    to a compliant media that just takes down whatever they say as the delivered truth like stenographers and never questions or challenges them. And when they finally encounter one who's doing the job right, they freak out. Newsom has
    had several instances like this as well, where he acts like he can't believe someone just doesn't take his word for whatever nonsense he's spewing.

    Katie Porter is also a woman who is notorious for having anger control issues. She committed domestic abuse on her husband by throwing a bowl of scalding hot mashed potatoes on his head during an argument.

    But sure, let's have her as governor.

    Having watched the clip, I really don't see how anyone can assess
    Porter's stance any way other than what you said. Mind you, someone like moviepig has an uncanny ability to forge alternative explanations that
    satisfy him, even if they are completely preposterous to everyone but him.
