    Allegedly to appease Trump, Bari Weiss is going to have some sort of
    enormous role at CBS News. At first it was hinted she might become news >president but I don't think that will happen. The new owners are trying
    to buy her brand, The Free Press. It's supposedly going to cost them
    $200 million.

    David Ellison, owner of Skydance and parent of Viacom/Paramount/CBS, has completed the purchase. It doesn't state what the final purchase price
    was.
