An interview with two members of the Manchester synagogue - a father and
his son - who survived the attack. They describe the event and the
aftermath, as well as those who were hurt and killed.

They explain that the Jewish community had been asking for help against anticipated incidents for two years without getting any such help.

The saddest thing is that they are seriously discussing whether they can
stay in the UK and live in safety or whether they have to go elsewhere. Imagine living in a place for generations and then having to think
seriously about leaving your country permanently because the government doesn't have your back in the aftermath of policies that the government
itself implemented, by which I mean uncontrolled mass immigration of
    cultures with decidedly hostile elements....

What do the Jews expect? The police must spend all their time gathering criminal evidence against those who speak out against the predictible
adverse consequences of government policy to do anything useful to
    mitigate against future harm.

This is literally the scenario in which they could successfully be
granted asylum in the United States based on the post WWII definition.
