    Like Dr. Felton, I have never heard of homovestism before.

    I've heard of it but at least until Goering became obese he was as
    much of a "swordsman" as most aging fighting aces. (Hint: Goering was
    the last commanding officer of the German WW1 Richthofen squadron -
    and that's not a position that went to those who "flew chairs")

    I don't think there's any dispute that Goering's military service during
    WWI was distinguished. (You could say the same about Hitler, although
    Goering was nationally known for his exploits while Hitler wasn't, at
    least *during* WWI.)

    I was surprised to learn that Goering he was apparently fluent in
    English and often conversed with his guards in English after his
    capture. I'm not sure where he acquired his English.

    Another bit of Nazi trivia: where was Ribbentrop when WWI started?
