TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE (ATARI 2600) - ANGRY VIDEO GAME NERD (AVGN):
The Nerd faces the horror of a bad video game for his Halloween that he
wishes he could cut apart with a chainsaw, as he reviews the Atari 2600
game based on The Texas Chainsaw Massacre. This is Angry Video Game Nerd Episode 35.

The Texas Chainsaw Massacre is considered one the greatest and most influential slasher films of all time. Although it was a big hit, it was
also very controversial being banned in numerous countries for its excessive violence. Throughout the years, the chainsaw wielding maniac known as Leatherface would go on to become a classic horror icon.

In 1983 a game based on the movie was released by Wizard Video Games for
the Atari 2600. It was one of the first horror movie video games and allowed the player to control Leatherface as he ran through a field brutally
murdering young women. It was nearly as controversial as the film and many game stores hid it behind the counter or refused to carry it at all. Its
poor success has made it one of the most sought after Atari games.

In part one of the Nerd's second annual Halloween special, he purchases the game from a local seller for a review. After that he meets his most "far-out fan," is captured by the Leatherface family and gets forced to play through even more of the mad and macabre, doo-doo diarrhea bulls**t of that sucky
    ass game.

HALLOWEEN (ATARI 2600) - ANGRY VIDEO GAME NERD (AVGN):
Halloween is upon him, so for his nightmarish night the Nerd must review
three very bad Halloween-themed video games for the Atari 2600. This is
Angry Video Game Nerd Episode 36. https://youtu.be/a0G_8gHDsL8?si=pL7VrkPWU2f4ihdw

ODYSSEY - ANGRY VIDEO GAME NERD (AVGN)
The Magnavox Odyssey was offered for sale in 1972, pre-packed with a collection of "cartridges" that were little more than primitive circuit
boards and colorful screen overlays so you could see what you were supposed
to be playing. This dinosaur is almost unrecognizable as a video game, but
is still a critical milestone in gaming. Both as the first home console, and because one of its games is the very first video tennis game, pre-dating Atari's 'Pong' by several months.

In this video, the Nerd explores one of the remaining pristine-condition Odysseys, with his irritation tempered by respect for history. The game
    still sucks, though.

SWORDQUEST (ATARI 2600) - ANGRY VIDEO GAME NERD (AVGN)
The Nerd looks back to the history behind the Swordquest series of games
for the Atari 2600, and one of the most elaborate contests created around
a video game - a contest which offered $150,000 of real treasures as prizes.

E.T. (ATARI 2600) - ANGRY VIDEO GAME NERD - (AVGN)
This review is from the feature-length film "Angry Video Game Nerd: The
Movie" now adapted into "episode" format. You can view this as a plot
spoiler, but I'm sure everyone already knows the movie ends with an E.T. review. The movie is more about the story behind the game, the Atari
landfill, but with a science fiction twist. To understand all the context
and imagination behind it, see the movie. Or enjoy it here as a standard "Nerd" episode. This is AVGN Episode 120. https://youtu.be/WUsQmYRfynw?si=zrjjk5zIt55GEARU

PORKY'S (ATARI 2600) - ANGRY VIDEO GAME NERD (AVGN):
For the ninth day of his Christmas, the Nerd smells a bad game amongst his presents, as he tackles with the confusing gameplay of Porky's for the Atari 2600.

THE DISTURBING CASE THAT STILL HAUNTS SIBERIA:
This is Kazynet. It's just a tiny collection of houses and a single railroad in the middle of the Siberian taiga. On the night of August 14th, 1989, a regularly scheduled train came through this cold, lonely stretch of woods until approaching something up ahead on the tracks. At first, the conductors couldn't tell what they were looking at, but when they could, the discovery would be one of the most gruesome and horrifying mysteries in modern Russian history. As always, although the events in this video are fleeting and non- descriptive, they are still highly disturbing, so viewer discretion is strongly advised.

Hope you're wrong on that - it started as a diabetic medication (which
is how I first encountered it) and like viagra went "VIRAL" for it's
    famous side effect.....

Yeah, there's a lot of Ozempic (and others like it) abuse (being used
for weight loss) happening. I see commercials for it as a diet drug on
TV all the time and, if memory serves, Weight Watchers began offering
    it at some point.
